Why I built this space
I’m Laura, the designer behind Olive & Wilde, and the founder of a coworking space in Dorchester for independent designers, creatives and freelancers.
I know what it’s like to work alone at the kitchen table, in the bustle of a coffee shop with unreliable Wi-Fi, juggling client calls while the washing machine beeps in the background.
I wanted to create a coworking space in Dorchester where independent designers and self employed professionals could feel credible, inspired and supported — without the pressure of corporate coworking or the distraction of working from home.
That’s what Olive & Wilde Studios is: a home for your business, not just a place to sit.

Is the £50 refundable?
Yes — fully refundable within 14 days of payment, or if we can’t confirm your spot, or if you choose not to proceed after reviewing the licence.
Can I tour before I decide?
Yes — we’re happy to arrange tours anytime over the next few weeks, just get in touch.
Will I get my own desk?
We run a hot-desking model, which means no fixed desks. As a founder, you get first access to bookings.
When will I start paying?
Only after you e-sign the Membership Licence. Billing begins from your Start Date
Am I required to be part of Olive & Wilde?
You’re your own brand working within Olive & Wilde Studios. This is a client credible setting with a clean, design led backdrop that supports your brand (never competes with it).
What if I cancel after 6 months and come back later?
Re-joining will be at the then current standard rate (currently £250/month).
Priority Deposit Terms (the small print)
By reserving a founding spot, you agree this £50 deposit is (a) fully refundable within 14 days of payment; (b) fully refundable if we cannot confirm your founding membership; and (c) credited to your first month once you sign our Membership Licence.
Your membership only begins, and recurring fees only start, after both parties e-sign. We’ll hold your spot and rate for 7 days from your deposit; if not signed within that window, we may release it to the waitlist.
This reservation is an invitation to reserve, not a binding membership contract.
